This video is Space Taxi running on the Commodore 64.
It was a request from from this community post ( link ) from Jas 72 over on my channel at YouTube.
If you wish to see me play games of your choice - it may take me a long time to work through the list - but this new Community area that YouTube has given me is the ideal platform for this.
Did I like this game, did I hate it... ...well the clue is perhaps in the video length !
This originally came out on floppy disk and cartridge for the Commodore. It was the floppy disk version I played on the MiSTer FPGA which perfectly recreates the Commodore 64.

Bit of a faff for me to finally get this working the trusty rg351p came up trumps .Decent game that plays nicely on the normal level.The next level up is just so difficult its hard enough to manouver you dont really need to be shot at as well.Surprised it didn't come out for the spectrum as well.Suppose it wasn't so big in the US where the game comes from.There is a space taxi 2 that came out on pc might check that out later.
ReplyDeleteWill have to check that out on the PC. You're spot on about the second level, can' imagine how hard they get if you go on and on. The effort needed to get some of those high score will likely give me a heart attack !
